This is the very first This Mum Loves Tech LIVE event, and I can’t wait to bring online business owners together in real life.
Whether you’re already part of the This Mum Loves Tech community or discovering it for the first time, this day is for online business owners who want more than online support alone and are ready to spend a day learning and asking questions in person.
This is your chance to step away from the screen and spend a full day sharing real conversations and meeting the people behind the profiles.
This is not an event to just sit back and listen.
This is a full day of connection, learning and hopefully lots of fun
Online support is brilliant. It’s flexible, accessible and incredibly powerful. But there is something different about being in the same room.
In person, conversations go deeper.
Questions are answered with context.
Connections feel more human.
This event is about getting to know the people and businesses behind the screens, in a way that just is not possible on an online call or inside a Facebook group.
It is a celebration of the This Mum Loves Tech community and everything that has been built over the last couple of years, whether you've been part of it from the start or joining for the first time at the event.
From the moment you arrive, you will be guided through the day so you never feel awkward, unsure or left out.

No. The event is open to all online business owners, whether you are part of the membership, the Facebook group or completely new to the community.
Absolutely. Many people will be attending on their own. The day is designed so you are never left wondering where to go or who to talk to. Table hosts guide introductions, there are regular table changes and conversation prompts throughout the day to help you make new connections naturally.
There are 5 product table spaces available. These are allocated on a first come, first served basis while ensuring a good mix of product categories. Once a category is filled, you will be offered a standard day ticket instead.
There is a maximum of 10 table host sponsorships available. These are allocated to ensure a good mix of business types in the event. Table hosts should feel confident guiding introductions, helping conversations flow and making sure everyone at their table has the chance to speak and feel included.
There will be a mix of service-based and product-based online businesses, all at different stages. The focus is on connection, collaboration and learning.
The event takes place in the Crystal Ballroom at The County Hotel, 29 Rainsford Road, Chelmsford, CM1 2PZ.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm, with doors opening at 9.30am.
By train:
The venue is a 5-minute walk from Chelmsford Station. Chelmsford is less than 30 minutes from London Liverpool Street.
By car:
Complimentary on-site parking is available at the hotel during the daytime for event attendees.
The Crystal Ballroom is located on the ground floor and has step-free access.
Yes. Your ticket includes a finger buffet lunch, plus tea and coffee throughout the day. There will also be a bar available at the venue for additional drinks.
